Made it to Florida…..

We are officially here!  Wow!  What a trip…..

This is the new adventure of headhuntress in the Bay Areas!  I will be traveling between both the Tampa Bay Area, and the San Francisco Bay Area.  I know, I know, crazy huh?  Well…I LOVE both areas and can pretty much virtually work anywhere.

I have not had too much time to check out the area as I have been working my arse off to get my office/home situated so I could be fully functioning and back to work full time today.  I have succeeded minus the freaking Vonage ordeal….erghh (sore subject).

Anyhow – stay tuned!

Beaching it!

Living next to the Pacific Ocean has it’s perks. I am not sure I agree with the justification for the median home price around here, but I can absolutely say I can enjoy my toes in the sand and a dose of good old Vitamin D!

The “Morning Shuffle”

Whats a morning like in my world??

Depends on the day before and the night before.  Balancing 3 kids and a busy career can be insane at times.  Thankfully my hubby is Super Dad, or I would never be able to pull it off.

Kids were in bed last night by 9:30 – late night.  2/3 were sick.  Ugh. Colton (1year old) was up about 50% of the night.  My heart breaks for him because I know he is miserable…but I am just so dang tired!  I resorted to watching Dennis Richard’s show on On Demand.  It was that bad!

I set my alarm for 6:30am.  Needless to say at 5:45am when I went back to bed, I turned the dang thing off!  7:30am Colton starts crying.  Grab him, and head upstairs to make my MUCH needed pot of coffee.  Yes…I need the whole pot.  A few minutes later Davis (11 yr old) is up and asking to watch TV.  YES!!!  You can do whatever you want that doesn’t require any brain power or physical labor from me.  LOL.  About 15 minutes later I hear Presley up….she’s been sick with a high fever.  Run down to to check her temp (baby in arms) and give her more Tylenol.  Its a Cartoon kinda day for her.  Poor girl.

8:45am …. go to wake up hubby.  Baby still in my arms.  I open my bedroom door thinking I will give him a cute baby hello kinda morning (where I lay Colton on top of hubby so he wakes up to being tackled by Colton) and Colton barfs all over the floor.  Ugh.

Hubby in shower, me feeding kids, checking blackberry (best invention ever) cup of coffee number 2 in hand.  Check the calendar for the day’s events/activities…it’s chalked full….of course.  Hubby grabs baby

It was 9am by the time I finally got to my desk.  That is a LATE morning for me.  3rd cup of coffee in hand…and a list of things to do.  This headhuntress needs to kick it into HIGH gear and get cracking.

Thank GOD it is FRIDAY!!!

What’s the deal with Vonage? Telemarketers Goldmine??

OK, so I have had Vonage for over a year now. Sure, it’s a steal. I have a personal home phone number and a business line as well for less than $70 a month. My old PacBell bill was well over $140/month. BUT…..I have NEVER had so many Telemarketers calling me in my life! Our phone literally rings off the hook. It is beyond annoying as well as interruptive and distracting.

Is Vonage so cheap because they sell my phone number to solicitors? What’s the deal? Ya, ya, do not call list, been there done that.

Here is the last hour:
